Marine & Leisure Assess Australia Pty Ltd is a group of independent Assessors, Marine Surveyors, Assessors & Consultants providing professional services to the public, Insurers & financial institutions.

Incorporating a wide marine skill base of professionals, we provide vessel surveys, claims solutions, salvage strategies, & associated services for the Marine and Leisure industries.

Our primary presence is on the Gold Coast, SE Qld providing us with easy access to the entire state of Queensland with early response times & quick turnaround times on solutions. Our current geographical footprint sees us attending regular appointments along the entire Eastern Seaboard, SA, and Northern Territory, with WA currently in our sights. Our NSW Surveyors operate from Cronulla and Newcastle offices, and have a permanent team member in Victoria.

MLAA has developed a Secure Data Management System (IDMS) to ensure compliance with codes & the highest level of security thus deliverying an efficient service to both Insurers and their clients. Communication, secure data managemnt and complete solutions.

Rob’s background in boat building, repair, surveying, and commercial vessel Master / Engineer operations both internationally and domestically, which has led him to a firmly established career as a Marine Surveyor. Previous appointments have been varied to include design briefs, vessel manufacturing feasibility studies, and general surveying appointments.

Rob has been fortunate enough to have spent a significant portion of his life abroad & aboard providing a significant exposure to the varied nature of vessel construction and operations.

Vicki has spent several years in her previous appointment in Marine Claims assessing administrative processing, prior to this Vicki has several years experience in Aviation Engineering administration.

Having spent several years cruising the world prior to her role as a Team Member on luxury charter yachts and cruisers; Vicki is fluent with Marine Industry terminology, vessel configuration, and the general running and requirements of vessel operations.

Vicki’s role within the company provides communication, file uploads, accounts management, and data transfer within the team, ensuring that all members remain informed and prepared.

Security is paramount with our Private Server, and automated remote location scheduled backup; Michelle works with all of our clients to ensure effective and secure data exchange.
